Primary Colors are basic and cannot be mixed from other elements. Red, Yellow and Blue are primary colors.

One can mix two primaries to get a Secondary Color. Red and Yellow mix to get Orange, Yellow and Blue mix to get Green, and Blue and Red mix to get Violet.

Intermediate colors are variations from a primary color and a secondary color.

Neutral colors are variations of white, grays, and beige's.
